I recently tried a few different online shops and wanted to share my experience. Some pieces look shiny online but feel like plastic when you open the package. It makes it easier to compare with an old pair of glasses that already fits well. If they ignore basic questions or reply with copy pasted text, I become suspicious. A product that still looks good after a few months is more impressive than something only good on arrival. Sharing real world usage stories is often more helpful than any advertisement.

Nose pads that are too hard leave marks and feel uncomfortable on the skin. Everyone has different expectations, but real photos and detailed comments are useful for everyone. I try to balance my budget between basic everyday items and a few special pieces. For light summer tops I keep to my normal size to avoid a baggy look. I also check if the store explains how to measure PD and frame size clearly. It is always difficult to know which website is really trustworthy before you place an order. Shipping speed is not everything, but extremely slow delivery is very annoying.
