{"id":523,"date":"2019-10-04T06:06:00","date_gmt":"2019-10-04T06:06:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/staging.txtbox.in\/docs\/zoho\/?post_type=lsvr_kba&#038;p=523"},"modified":"2020-04-24T05:20:31","modified_gmt":"2020-04-24T05:20:31","slug":"sms-mms-campaign","status":"publish","type":"lsvr_kba","link":"https:\/\/staging.txtbox.in\/docs\/zoho\/knowledge-base\/sms-mms-campaign\/","title":{"rendered":"SMS\/MMS Campaign"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>SMS-Magic also provides these capabilities:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Send a text message campaign to any Zoho object<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Send and receive MMS messages<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>You can send SMS campaigns to records of any object, and also choose to add a media file in that campaign (MMS messaging) to make your communication more effective. The sections below explain how to set this up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Preparing your recipient<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>To send SMS\/MMS to the records of any object of your Zoho CRM, you need to have the recipient list in the CSV file and upload it while running a campaign. You can also choose to save the recipient list in your SMS-Magic portal so that you can use this in future again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Follow these steps to export records from Zoho CRM:<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ol>\n<li>Go to https:\/\/www.zoho.com\/crm\/lp\/login.html and log in with your Zoho CRM credentials.\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/staging.txtbox.in\/docs\/zoho\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2019\/10\/sms-campaign-1.png\">\n<\/li>\n<li>Go to <b>Setup &gt; Data Administration &gt; Export<\/b>.\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/staging.txtbox.in\/docs\/zoho\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2019\/10\/sms-campaign-2.png\">\n<\/li>\n<li>Choose the Module from which you need to export records in CSV format.\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/staging.txtbox.in\/docs\/zoho\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2019\/10\/sms-campaign-3.png\">\n<\/li>\n<li>Your CSV has the list of records and is ready to be used for sending out SMS\/MMS campaigns. You can examine the CSV file and remove any recipients that you don\u2019t want to receive SMS messages.\n\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<div class=\"c-alert-message\">\nIt is not mandatory to export a CSV from Zoho CRM. You can create a CSV file and insert the records to which you want to send SMS messages. The CSV created should have the column names\/field names.\n<\/div>\n<br>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/staging.txtbox.in\/docs\/zoho\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2019\/10\/sms-campaign-4.png\">\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Running an SMS\/MMS campaign<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Now that you have the recipients for your campaign, you\u2019re all set to run an SMS\/MMS Campaign. Follow these steps:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol>\n<li>Go to https:\/\/app.sms-magic.com and log in with your SMS-Magic credentials.\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/staging.txtbox.in\/docs\/zoho\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2019\/10\/sms-campaign-5.png\">\n<\/li>\n<li>Go to <b>Campaign &gt; SMS Campaign<\/b> and click the <b>Create Campaign<\/b> button.\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/staging.txtbox.in\/docs\/zoho\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2019\/10\/sms-campaign-6.png\">\n<\/li>\n<li>\nIn the <b>Create Campaign<\/b> section:\n<ul>\n<li>Enter both the <b>Campaign Theme\/Name<\/b> and <b>Sender ID<\/b>, and also choose <b>Recipients<\/b> for your campaign.<\/li>\n<li>Optionally, add a detailed description to your campaign.<\/li>\n<li>In the <b>Recipient List<\/b>, either select the saved list you created earlier, or upload the exported CSV file.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/staging.txtbox.in\/docs\/zoho\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2019\/10\/sms-campaign-7.png\">\n<\/li>\n<li>\nIn the <b>Compose<\/b> section, select a template that you created in the SMS-Magic portal. SMS-Magic currently supports only static templates, which can be used while running a campaign.\n<br>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/staging.txtbox.in\/docs\/zoho\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2019\/10\/sms-campaign-8.png\">\n<br>\nUsing <b>Insert Dynamic Fields<\/b> you can choose to insert dynamic fields into your SMS message. The fields displayed in the drop-down will be the columns present in the CSV file.\n<br>\nSince you can have multiple fields for storing phone numbers of your recipients, SMS-Magic provides you the ability to choose the column of your CSV which has the phone number of your recipients\u2014using the <b>Select Phone Field<\/b> drop-down list.\n<br>\nIf MMS is enabled for your organization, you can check the Add media file box and attach a media file to your message, then enter the Subject of the MMS and choose to either upload a media file from your system or enter the web address (Enter URL) of the media file.\n<br>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/staging.txtbox.in\/docs\/zoho\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2019\/10\/sms-campaign-9.png\">\n<br>\nThe MMS size, supported file format, and supported file type depends on your network carrier. You can check the details by clicking the link to view the <b>Upload Instructions<\/b>.\n<br>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/staging.txtbox.in\/docs\/zoho\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2019\/10\/sms-campaign-10.png\">\n<\/li>\n<li>\nIn the <b>Validate <\/b>section, you can:\n<ul>\n<li>See the <b>Message Preview<\/b>.<\/li>\n<li>Send a sample message to yourself before shooting the campaign.<\/li>\n<li>Validate the recipient phone number.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/staging.txtbox.in\/docs\/zoho\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2019\/10\/sms-campaign-11.png\">\n<\/li>\n<li>\nIn the <b>Send<\/b> section, you can:\n<ul>\n<li>See the summary of the campaign.<\/li>\n<li>Click the <b>Shoot Campaign<\/b> button, or schedule campaign now.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/staging.txtbox.in\/docs\/zoho\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2019\/10\/sms-campaign-12.png\">\n<\/li>\n<li>Once the campaign has been sent, the campaign list view page will appear\u2014on which you can see the list of all campaigns.\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/staging.txtbox.in\/docs\/zoho\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2019\/10\/sms-campaign-13.png\">\n<\/li>\n<li>In the <b>Action<\/b> column, click the small info icon to see the details of a campaign.\n<br>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/staging.txtbox.in\/docs\/zoho\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2019\/10\/sms-campaign-14.png\">\n<br>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/staging.txtbox.in\/docs\/zoho\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2019\/10\/sms-campaign-15.png\">\n<br>\nWhen you receive an MMS, you can review details in the <b>Responses<\/b> tab of the SMS-Magic portal.\n<br>\n<div class=\"c-alert-message\">\nThe messages sent using campaigns will not be associated with the records of your Object and on your Zoho CRM.
