You can associate templates for sending messages from the Marketing Cloud. &nbsp;Converse App tasks are configured within the Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) Journey Builder.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Prerequisites<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Integrating SMS-Magic with Marketing Cloud requires the following prerequisites:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li> Marketing Cloud is connected to your Sales or Service Cloud<\/li><li> SMS-Magic  Converse is installed on your Sales or Service Cloud <\/li><li> SMS-Magic Converse version is 1.50 or higher<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">To Configure Converse App Task with Marketing Cloud<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step 1: Create a Converse App Task<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>As the first step of the integration process, you need to create a Converse App Task. This will be configured within the Marketing Cloud for sending messages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1. Log into SMS-Magic Converse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2. On the top menu bar, click&nbsp;the <strong>Converse App<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.sms-magic.com\/docs\/salesforce\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2019\/10\/converseapp_mc1.jpg\">\n\n\n\n<p>3. Click&nbsp;<strong>Create New App<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.sms-magic.com\/docs\/salesforce\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2019\/10\/converseapp_mc2.jpg\" \/>\n\n\n\n<p>4. Under&nbsp;<strong>App Name<\/strong>, name the Converse App.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>5. Under&nbsp;<strong>App Description<\/strong>&nbsp;enter a short description about the Converse App.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>6. Under&nbsp;<strong>Object<\/strong>, select the object which you are using in the Marketing Cloud.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>7. Click&nbsp;<strong>Create<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step 2: Create a Template<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>You need to create a template to send messages from Marketing Cloud:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1. On the App detail page, click&nbsp;<strong>Add Templates<\/strong>. The Templates pop-up window appears<\/p>\n\n\n\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.sms-magic.com\/docs\/salesforce\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2019\/10\/converseapp_mc3.jpg\">\n\n\n\n<p>2. Under&nbsp;<strong>Template Text<\/strong>, type the text for your SMS template.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>3. Click&nbsp;<strong>Save<\/strong>. The Template is created.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step 3. Create a Message Flow<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Once the template is created you need to associate it to a message flow. The Marketing Cloud uses this message flow to send messages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1. On the App detail page, click&nbsp;the <strong>Down Arrow<\/strong> icon next to&nbsp;<strong>Set Up<\/strong>&nbsp;in the top right corner and select<strong>&nbsp;Automation<\/strong>&nbsp;from the dropdown list. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.sms-magic.com\/docs\/salesforce\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2019\/10\/converseapp_mc4.jpg\">\n\n\n\n<p>2. Click the number of messages you want to add in the flow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>3. Click<strong>&nbsp;Next<\/strong>. The&nbsp;<strong>Add New message<\/strong>&nbsp;flow page appears.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.sms-magic.com\/docs\/salesforce\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2019\/10\/converseapp_mc5.jpg\">\n\n\n\n<p>4. Under&nbsp;<strong>Template<\/strong>, select the template that you have created under Step 2 mentioned above.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>5. Under&nbsp;<strong>Message Flow Trigger<\/strong>, select&nbsp;<strong>Process Builder<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>6. Click&nbsp;<strong>Save<\/strong>. The app detail page appears with the action key generated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.sms-magic.com\/docs\/salesforce\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2019\/10\/converseapp_mc6.jpg\">\n\n\n\n<p>7. On the&nbsp;<strong>App Detail<\/strong>&nbsp;page, change the message flow status to&nbsp;<strong>Active<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"c-alert-message\">The Action key that is generated as it will be used in subsequent stages. Once the message flow is activated, you will also need to activate the Converse App status.<\/div>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step 4. Configure Converse Task in SFMC Journey Builder<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Once you create the Converse App Task, you need to configure it with the SFMC Journey Builder in order to send messages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1. Under&nbsp;<strong>Sales &amp; Service Cloud<\/strong>&nbsp;activities, click and move the&nbsp;<strong>Object Activity<\/strong>&nbsp;to the Journey Canvas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2. Select the Object as Converse App task.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.sms-magic.com\/docs\/salesforce\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2019\/10\/converseapp_mc7.jpg\">\n\n\n\n<p>3. Click&nbsp;<strong>Next<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.sms-magic.com\/docs\/salesforce\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2019\/10\/converseapp_mc8.jpg\">\n\n\n\n<p>4. Under&nbsp;<strong>Select Action<\/strong>, click&nbsp;<strong>Create New<\/strong>&nbsp;and then click&nbsp;<strong>Next<\/strong>. The fields for creating the new action appear.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.sms-magic.com\/docs\/salesforce\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2019\/10\/converseapp_mc9.jpg\">\n\n\n\n<p>5. Under&nbsp;<strong>Required<\/strong>, select&nbsp;<strong>Automation Key Reference<\/strong>&nbsp;and paste the action key generated from the&nbsp;<strong>Converse App<\/strong>&nbsp;task.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>6. Under<strong>&nbsp;Type<\/strong>, select&nbsp;<strong>Automation<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>7. Click to modify the other optional fields.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>8. Click&nbsp;<strong>Save<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>9. Under&nbsp;<strong>Map Fields<\/strong>, select the Object on which you want to send the SMS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>10. Select the&nbsp;<strong>Select an ID from the Journey Event Data<\/strong>&nbsp;option.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>11. Click&nbsp;<strong>Contact.ID<\/strong>&nbsp;in the adjacent drop-down list.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.sms-magic.com\/docs\/salesforce\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2019\/10\/converseapp_mc10.jpg\">\n\n\n\n<p>12. Click&nbsp;<strong>Save<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>13. Click&nbsp;<strong>Next<\/strong>. The&nbsp;<strong>Review the Object Data that you just Configured<\/strong>&nbsp;page appears.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.sms-magic.com\/docs\/salesforce\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2019\/10\/converseapp_mc11.jpg\">\n\n\n\n<p>13. Review the mapped field information to ensure its accuracy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>14. Under&nbsp;<strong>Activity Name<\/strong>, type a name for the Converse App Task Activity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>15.
