You can configure the following in Conversations:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Converse Desk Layouts<\/strong> &#8211; Under the Converse Desk Layouts tab, you can help users configure the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Conversation Filters and Global Filters for specific users and profiles.&nbsp;<\/li><li>The color theme for the Converse Desk.&nbsp;<\/li><li>Conversation Topic Layout.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Message Settings \u2013 <\/strong>Under the Message Settings tab you can define the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>The color theme for displaying Automated messages.<\/li><li>Information to be displayed under every Incoming and Outgoing message bubble.&nbsp;<\/li><li>Information to be displayed under the information lookup fields.&nbsp;<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>General Settings<\/strong> &#8211; Under the General Settings tab, you can disable or enable user privileges for the following features:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Send Canned Responses<\/li><li>Define Character Limit for Messages<\/li><li>Internal Note<\/li><li>CRM Actions&nbsp;<\/li><li>Related Conversation Setting<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Configure Converse Desk Layout<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Under the Converse Desk Layouts tab, you can create multiple layouts for the Converse Desk. For each layout you can:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Select the filters under the static Conversation Filters.<\/li><li>Select the filters under the dynamic Global Filters.<\/li><li>Assign the users and user profiles to the layout.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The static Conversation Filters are pre-defined. The <strong>All<\/strong> and <strong>Unread<\/strong> filters are the default filters and cannot be removed from the selection list of filters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The dynamic Global Filters are dependent on what message objects are selected under Message Configuration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>To Create a New Layout:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1. Login to Salesforce and access SMS-Magic Converse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2. In the <strong>Converse Settings<\/strong> tab, click <strong>Conversations<\/strong>. The Conversation page appears.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/lh3.googleusercontent.com\/e7Ta58mlCMEoE9kkfG8Hm-U3u4vCaAVCE5W5qwZxKdWQDvVRJfc2K500c13h11EOHMaMXdFa6LmQMoiMpnJx8sa1xjC-gGB4LzeJdNjbr8NbqjXT9O8eucaaTYWrFkwN_tNAVOWE\" alt=\"\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>3. Under <strong>Configure Converse Desk Layout<\/strong> section, click <strong>Create New Layout<\/strong>. The Create New Layout popup window appears.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/lh6.googleusercontent.com\/6rXP4-n6G9xPfN8o6cBqZ6jzoSXs8X2i6kqfoVrrKC5xfGC45UOhbhEUFf0mua3J3JObTDBGJtS9_cRDJJ3U7fdOdc2VW4oW-ntMSWNbdilwOnsccsYTfdt9tShozJfAf3XW8x9j\" alt=\"\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>4. Type the name of the Layout.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>5. Under <strong>Global Filters<\/strong>, select the objects for which you want to view the messages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>6. Under <strong>Conversation Filters<\/strong>, select the relevant filters to view messages.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>7. Select the user or profile names for whom the layout will be available in the<strong> Select Users, profile<\/strong> field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>8. Click <strong>Save<\/strong>. The new layout is found in the Configure Converse Desk Layout list.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>9. Click <strong>Save Changes<\/strong> at the bottom of the Converse Desk Layouts tab page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>To Select the Desk Theme:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1. the <strong>Converse Desk Layouts<\/strong> section, slide the toggle button to enable the <strong>Color<\/strong> feature. The <strong>Color<\/strong> section appears as shown.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/lh4.googleusercontent.com\/SWVNYP8y0CFvuLyN4tKSTSSEhYtwM3FRhMUzWE8KqTP2gAn_aP5KdBYJcF0e770VLrQxWVZGXfglZUbtBGHO29OMguZBnlEtgCdx-lXY5ozmaVSRLNTDd9G7Qm7svoJ_R8EeB1zd\" alt=\"\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>2. Select a color or pattern for the desk theme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>3. Click <strong>Preview Theme<\/strong>. A separate popup window displays a preview of the Converse Desk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>4. Click <strong>Save Changes<\/strong> at the bottom of the <strong>Converse Desk Layouts<\/strong> tab page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>To Customize the Conversation Topic View:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1. In the <strong>Converse Desk Layouts<\/strong> section, go to <strong>Conversation Topic<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/lh5.googleusercontent.com\/dL_uPCT-v7lphgmasGyb6HIPN21gI1ZeJFaE7Q7ZqsW1BG3Y13Ptz758OW5Qrfv-mZyrqXRY-Dr9Zy2G-IKL2aFtNdZsL5FJvM7x9c2Bvb0wO86uBiXK76j24q3FDS3O7kAoJMqP\" alt=\"\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>2. Select the relevant template from the <strong>Template Name<\/strong> list.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>3. Select the relevant name for the field from the <strong>Field Name<\/strong> list.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>4. Click <strong>Save Changes<\/strong> at the bottom of the <strong>Converse Desk Layouts<\/strong> tab page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Configure Message Settings<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>In the Message Settings tab, you can configure the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>The color theme for displaying automated messages<\/li><li>The information that appears below every Incoming and Outgoing message bubble<\/li><li>The information that appears below the information lookup fields<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>To Configure Color for the Automated Message:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1. In the <strong>Message Settings<\/strong> tab, browse <strong>Display Automated Message<\/strong>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/lh4.googleusercontent.com\/MiXYZNcr7YWekrCLAbhBEC9fcRL5GULuyREOSpbMrluwq3zUdeiNgIzV58KdR_E581dwcdVLrF84LPjMQRhbPgwkMU4v9QNDA2zNtzYu0GlYPDZxvw0eTq-u61EAb3FqOB4fNbl2\" alt=\"\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>2. In <strong>Display Automated Message<\/strong>, slide the toggle button to enable the feature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>3. Select a color.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>4. Click <strong>Save Changes<\/strong> at the bottom of the<strong> Message Settings<\/strong> tab page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>To Define Message Bubble Information:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1. In the <strong>Message Settings<\/strong> tab, browse <strong>Message Bubble Information<\/strong>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/lh6.googleusercontent.com\/t6Ku8c_9MDgAtAJ6UoRQNn2GUwagnKhVYgClhhem5rc6pTYqtW250yO7F6NqJMLlKuZME3peYx3ISEFplJxB2KWtcvtOmrh1bOm0mjWHdIhaS0CwdLISsbtlzpJdxm6xmwHUhaMo\" alt=\"\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>2. In <strong>Message Bubble Information<\/strong> select the relevant checkboxes to define the information to be displayed under each message bubble.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>3. Click <strong>Save Changes<\/strong> at the bottom of the<strong> Message Settings<\/strong> tab page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>To Define Lookup Field Information:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1. In the <strong>Message Settings<\/strong> tab, browse <strong>Lookup Fields Display and Configuration<\/strong>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2. In <strong>Lookup Fields Display and Configuration<\/strong>, slide the toggle button to enable the feature. The information to be displayed under Lookup fields appear.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/lh6.googleusercontent.com\/RIP9ZCj6BSUQqUdPknL00DCW9wLYultSAwlW0KAoN_QWq5Oocx04wRIEI6avoCCK83bgjv6K-yG10exNfnHS-7tkSmujvI8x9zP-XhoNzR4B5hzwvSf7eG-QvIdEVVx-APfOmjoN\" alt=\"\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>3. Select the appropriate information to be displayed in the information lookup field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>4. Click <strong>Save Changes<\/strong> at the bottom of the <strong>Message Settings<\/strong> tab page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Configure General Settings<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>In the General Settings tab, you can disable or enable user privileges for the following features:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Send Canned Responses<\/li><li>Define Character Limit for Messages<\/li><li>Internal Note<\/li><li>Configure CRM Actions<\/li><li>Configure Related Conversation<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>To Enable Usage of  Canned Responses:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1. In the <strong>General Settings<\/strong> tab, browse <strong>Reply Using Canned Responses (Templates Only)<\/strong>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/lh4.googleusercontent.com\/w4qhxzePeSFfRX5WTN26nrzC1rKOiFeNhYk9wngYqRi-93hHmITtvVJfhFvxQoNOaLFAfaKdGZb7xxODLSPDgK8NwIfjnDjsaOWd-uC7ITSzxxxv-cVDwZHaNE7gr28UXA8aRZ3n\" alt=\"\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>2. In <strong>Reply Using Canned Responses (Templates Only)<\/strong>, slide the toggle button to enable the feature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"c-alert-message\">The feature is disabled by default. If you enable it once it will remain enabled for subsequent logins. In the disabled state, none of the fields shown in the screen above will be visible.<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>3. Click <strong>Create New<\/strong>. The Reply Using Canned Responses (Create New) popup window appears.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/lh3.googleusercontent.com\/EeQG3BlVG_vdtAr9wt1SAfiwsE8SYkGlcimzyLwhbPUPLmWmpf_4argMtnnfHOMn7rZVoKxmYzymDiCdGujaKGUbvKjOtKCGM0S15nb681yogS9kSud4wBNG9bn1L6gs38OuZZpy\" alt=\"\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>4. In <strong>Users and Profiles<\/strong>, type any three letters of the User name or profile and select the relevant name from the list that appears.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>5. In <strong>Do you want to enable Canned Responses?<\/strong> Select <strong>Yes<\/strong> if you want to enable this feature for the selected user or <strong>No<\/strong> if you want to disable this feature for the selected user profile.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>6. Click <strong>Save<\/strong>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>To Define the Message Character Limit:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"c-alert-message\">User profiles for which you have enabled the Reply with Canned Responses feature are not able to create and send custom messages. Therefore, it will overwrite all character limits you may have defined for the same user profile. Do not enable the Reply with Canned Responses feature if you want to define character limits for any specific user profile.<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>1. In the <strong>General Settings<\/strong> tab, browse <strong>Character Limit of a Message<\/strong>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/lh4.googleusercontent.com\/UwVJWtKhZOX4iUn7V2BJ2Mop78xuv6syguCvLDbkTMoxOfjv3jR_QVvHgJI3C_2wJ47GhPNMgfXo1RDoy_IhuY7wloc70_KwwMDo2ixkUXwD7hnCUlLcfKh4dUjMZlVK-tOWFYDf\" alt=\"\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>2. In <strong>Character Limit of a Message<\/strong> section, slide the toggle button to enable the feature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>3. Click <strong>Create New<\/strong>. In <strong>Users and Profiles<\/strong>, type any three letters of the User name or profile and select the relevant name from the list that appears.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>5. In Enter Character Limit type the maximum number of characters each message sent by the selected user profiles can contain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>6. Click <strong>Save<\/strong>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you want to edit or delete the character limit, then in <strong>Action<\/strong>, click the <strong>Down<\/strong> icon and then click <strong>Edit <\/strong>or<strong> Delete<\/strong> to make the required changes.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>To Enable Internal Note:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1. Select <strong>Yes <\/strong>if you want to enable this feature for the selected user profile or <strong>No<\/strong> if you want to disable this feature for the selected user profile.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>6. Identify the object for which you want to add CRM actions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>4. In Action, click the <strong>Down<\/strong> icon and then, click <strong>Edit<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>5.
