Therefore, it will overwrite all character limits you may have defined for the same User profile. Do not enable the Canned Responses feature if you want to define Character Limits for any specific user profile.<\/div>\n\t<li>Log in to Salesforce and access SMS-Magic Converse.<\/li>\n\t<li>Click the <b>Converse Settings<\/b> tab. \n<\/li><br><p>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/docs\/salesforce\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2019\/08\/reg-n-rem-setng-1.59-9.jpg\"><\/p>\n\t<li>Select the <b>Conversations<\/b> section.<\/li>\n\t<li>Click <b>General Settings<\/b> tab.\n<\/li><br><p>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/docs\/salesforce\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2019\/09\/canned-responses-1.59-1.jpg\"><\/p>\n\t<li>Under <b>Character Limit of A Message<\/b>, slide the toggle button to enable the feature.\n<\/li><br><p>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/docs\/salesforce\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2019\/09\/define-character-limit-1.59-1.jpg\"><\/p>\n<li>Click <b>Advanced Setting<\/b>. The <b>Character Limit of a Message<\/b> pop-up window appears.\n<\/li><br><p>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/docs\/salesforce\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2019\/09\/define-character-limit-1.59-2.jpg\"><\/p>\n\t<li>Under <b>Users and Profiles<\/b>, type any three letters of the User name or profile and select the relevant name from the list that appears.<\/li>\n\t<li>Under <b>Enter Character Limit<\/b> type the maximum number of characters each message sent by the selected user profiles, can contain.<\/li>\n\t<li>Click <b>Save<\/b>.
