{"id":1259,"date":"2019-09-26T14:18:42","date_gmt":"2019-09-26T14:18:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/staging.txtbox.in\/docs\/salesforce\/?post_type=lsvr_kba&#038;p=1259"},"modified":"2020-04-24T05:19:54","modified_gmt":"2020-04-24T05:19:54","slug":"create-a-drip-campaign","status":"publish","type":"lsvr_kba","link":"https:\/\/staging.txtbox.in\/docs\/salesforce\/knowledge-base\/create-a-drip-campaign\/","title":{"rendered":"Create a Drip Campaign"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>You can create two types of campaigns to meet your business needs:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>A single campaign that will run once. <\/li><li>A nurture or drip campaign.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Nurture or drip campaigns are used for a variety of reasons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>To educate or nurture your prospects and customers.<\/li><li>Learn more about them through a series of questions and content.<\/li><li>Simplify a complex process by automating it through messaging.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/staging.txtbox.in\/docs\/sf-quickstart\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2019\/11\/drip-campaign.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-835\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Nurture or drip campaigns are typically used in the following scenarios:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Nurturing new leads \u2013 While recruiting students, Universities can send them multiple messages to educate them about the prospects and opportunities their institute offers.<\/li><li>Deepen your relationships with relevance \u2013 Survey your audience to find out what they want to know, then share the exact information through a series of messages.<\/li><li>Run Loyalty programs \u2013 You can deliver timely and powerful loyalty program updates that keep your customers coming back for more.<\/li><li>Automate a complex or detailed process \u2013 You can monitor and manage the workflow of sales contractual processes, simplifying them for both clients and brokers.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The&nbsp;Campaign Manager&nbsp;provides the facility to associate single user-defined templates or pre-packaged apps for creating campaigns. Once created, you can also schedule the campaigns for launching them when required.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Create a Campaign using Templates<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>You can associate stand-alone templates with a campaign. All available Templates are displayed under two tabs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Converse Templates&nbsp;\u2013 This displays all the templates that you have created in&nbsp;Converse Templates.<\/li><li>SMS-Magic Library&nbsp;\u2013 This displays all the templates that have been used in apps that are assigned to your Organization.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Create a Campaign using Converse App<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>You can associate a converse app with your campaign. This helps you automate your campaigns in order to reach large number of customers for a specified duration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Creating campaigns with converse apps involves the following two stages:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Associate a template with the campaign to send out a trigger message that will help you collect customer interest.<\/li><li>Associate apps that are pre-assigned to your organization to start campaign automation.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">To Create a Drip Campaign:<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>1. Log in to Salesforce and click the <b>Campaign Manager<\/b> tab on the header row. The Campaign Manager home page appears.<br><figure><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"margin-left: auto;margin-right: auto\" src=\"\/docs\/salesforce\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2019\/08\/create-campaigns-1.59-1.jpg\"><\/figure><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2. Click <b>New Campaign<\/b>. The Create New Campaign pop-up window appears.<br><figure><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"margin-left: auto;margin-right: auto\" src=\"\/docs\/salesforce\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2019\/08\/create-campaigns-1.59-2.jpg\"><\/figure><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>3. Enter the following details: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Under <b>Campaign Name<\/b>, type the name of the Campaign.<\/li><li>Under <strong>Objective<\/strong>, type an objective for launching the campaign.  <\/li><li>Under <strong>Description<\/strong>, type a description for the new campaign. <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>4. Click <b>Create<\/b>. The Campaign Builder page appears.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/docs\/salesforce\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2019\/08\/create-campaigns-1.59-3.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>5. Under <b>Select Recipients &amp; Phone Fields<\/b>, click <b>Type<\/b> and select one of the following: \n<ul><li>List View<\/li>\n<li>Report<\/li><\/ul><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>6. When you select <b>List View<\/b>. The screen displays the following fields:<figure><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"margin-left: auto;margin-right: auto\" src=\"\/docs\/salesforce\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2019\/08\/create-campaigns-1.59-4.jpg\"><\/figure><\/p>\n\n\n\n<table class=\"wp-block-table is-style-stripes\"><tbody><tr><td><strong>Fields<\/strong><\/td><td><strong>Description<\/strong><\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Object<\/td><td><br>Select the object to define the corresponding recipient list.<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>List View<\/td><td>Select the list view that will define the recipient list.<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Phone Field<\/td><td>Select the relevant phone field that has been defined for the object.<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table>\n\n\n\n<p>7. When you select <b>Report<\/b>. The page displays the following fields:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/docs\/salesforce\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2019\/08\/create-campaigns-1.59-5.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<table class=\"wp-block-table is-style-stripes\"><tbody><tr><td><strong>Field<\/strong><\/td><td><strong>Description<\/strong><\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Select Report<\/td><td>Select the report that needs to be used for generating the recipient list. These reports are generated based on the pre-defined Salesforce reports for the different message Objects that you have configured. You can view reports generated for only 2000 records. Records beyond the stipulated number are ignored. All reports are tabular in structure. Campaign Manager does not generate bar charts or histogram reports. You need relevant permissions to create reports. Contact your System Administrator to configure your access rights. Refer to the&nbsp;<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/help.salesforce.com\/articleView?id=rd_reports_overview.htm&amp;type=5\" target=\"_blank\">Salesforce Reports Documentation<\/a>&nbsp;for more details on creating reports.<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Select Object<\/td><td>Select the object to define the corresponding recipient list.<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Phone Field<\/td><td>Select the relevant phone field that has been defined for the object.<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table>\n\n\n\n<p>8. Select <strong>Send to Duplicate Records<\/strong> check box if you wish to include duplicate records in the campaign recipient list.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"c-alert-message\">If this check box is cleared, SMS-Magic Converse identifies the duplicate records in your recipient list and prevents all messages to be resent to them.<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>9. Under <strong>Campaign Type<\/strong>, do one of the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Click <b>Select from Converse App<\/b> and follow steps at <a href=\"https:\/\/staging.txtbox.in\/docs\/salesforce\/knowledge-base\/create-campaigns-using-converse-app\/\">Create Campaigns using Converse App<\/a> to select the predefined app.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/docs\/salesforce\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2019\/08\/create-campaigns-1.59-6.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Click <b>Select from Templates<\/b> and follow steps at <a href=\"https:\/\/staging.txtbox.in\/docs\/salesforce\/knowledge-base\/campaigns-template\/\">Create Campaigns using Templates<\/a> to select the predefined app.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/docs\/salesforce\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2019\/08\/create-campaigns-1.59-7.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>10. Under <strong>Execute<\/strong>, do one of the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Click <b>Execute Now<\/b> to execute the campaign immediately.<\/li><li>Click <b>Schedule for Later<\/b> to define the schedule for starting the campaign.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>11. Once you complete creating the campaign, do one of the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Click <b>Save Campaign<\/b> to save the campaign and run it later; or<\/li><li>Click <b>Start Now<\/b> to start running the campaign based on the preferences you have defined in the <b>Execute<\/b> section.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"c-alert-message\">To view a preview of the campaign you have created prior to executing it, click <b>Campaign Preview<\/b>.<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>You can create two types of campaigns to meet your business needs: A single campaign that will run once.
