(SMS\/WhatsApp)<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/lh6.googleusercontent.com\/iPZU4F7SKF90Hi0uNohDb0oEuOjA0dGt5W7QDiaMaS1I9rFJm7y8NIU1ZGVfdAiwv3rT0nH41Ke9n0wnUwyK-WxKmBqRCq6xPXC-2i0swvsbAQuHhB0j5J7maT-6hgX7aSPIDx0\" alt=\"A screenshot of a cell phone  Description automatically generated\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Enter the Channel Specific Information.<ul><li>For Channel SMS, no extra information is required<\/li><li>For Channel WhatsApp, select the checkbox, if the template is a registered (pre-approved) WhatsApp template.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>If the template is a Registered template for WhatsApp, then enter the below information-<ul><li>WhatsApp Template Name &#8211; This name should match the name of the template created in your WhatsApp Business Account.<\/li><li>WhatsApp Template Namespace &#8211; This value should match the namespace ID found in your WhatsApp Business Account.<\/li><li>Locale &#8211; Select a locale value (language) in which your template is registered with WhatsApp.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li>Compose the Template Message. You can add text, merge fields, emoticons, and media attachments.&nbsp;<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Based on the channel selected for this template, below are the options available while composing the message \u2013<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>SMS Template<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Enter Text, Emoticons.<\/li><li>Select Merge Fields. The merge fields are placeholders, which get replaced by actual values, for the recipient to whom the message is sent.<\/li><li>Add a media file. This will convert the SMS into MMS. Based on the media formats supported by the MMS provider, you will be allowed to add a media file with a file size limit of 5MB.&nbsp;<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/lh4.googleusercontent.com\/ejl4vmP4PFSpljrU63QuNhuy1Q8wriNrpg5ZoqFtW-NL6_k-pN2tVz3iNSnmcO4lsNzk7dk1iB1ldVlQWu0mPjTPGUs1Vn-c5usCZZsg8l282IGgtJbBgUDe7Nkoy8R8n3dHv6I\" alt=\"A screenshot of a cell phone  Description automatically generated\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Non-Registered WhatsApp Template<ol><li>Follow the same steps of Compose message as for SMS Template<\/li><\/ol><\/li><li>Registered WhatsApp template<ol><li>Enter text, emoticons, merge fields<\/li><li>If your registered template is of media type, select one of the Media types from Image, Video, Document, and Location<\/li><li>Enter the necessary details for the media type you select<\/li><li>You can add a link to the media file or Browse for the media file in your device<\/li><li>Supported file formats and file size is mentioned for each media type<\/li><\/ol><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"c-alert-message\">\nMessage text should be the same as registered template text. Placeholders in the text should be replaced with merge fields.\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Click on the \u2018Save\u2019 button.
